Successful Summer for Louth Pony Club Tetrathletes
In June five of our junior competitors were selected to compete for Ireland at the UK Junior Regional Competition in Scotland - Rebecca Angel, Rebecca Matthews, Aoife Fay, Aideen Fay and Henry Patton. Well done!
Our Junior Girls Team of 2 Rebeccas and Fays swept the boards in competitions during the summer by winning in Northern Ireland and coming 1st at our National Championships in Tatterstalls. This great win means they will be invited to compete at the UK championships next year.

HOLLY’S HORSE HAVEN
If you have any spare cash, bales of hay or feed this is a very worthwhile cause to donate to. They have at least 30 rescue horses/ponies in need at the moment. The dreadful weather conditions for the past few weeks have put extra pressure on their resources. Please click on their website link below for more information.

Louth members Steph, Hayley, Sadhbh and Gillian caught up with Rob Kearney at the RDS. Rob is a past member and now successful international rugby player.
LOUTH'S FEATURE IN PRESS ARTICLES
The Louth Hunt Branch of the Irish Pony Club is featured in Ireland's Horse Review February edition, Volume 14 Issue 2 Page 16. The article tells a lovely story of what we are about and was written by one of our parents Orlaith Carmody Duffy.
There is also an article on the Irish Pony Club Hunting Exchange in this week's Horse and Hound 18th February 2010 Page 43. Louth's Marina was one of the four Irish participants.
